Beautiful picture of the twin towers!!
Thanks for sharing…
Thanks again for this Robyn. It’s always beautiful and appreciated. I grew up in NY and drive past the NY skyline a few times a week here in NJ and STILL look for our beloved Towers every time. My Dad was a welder, and worked on their construction back in the day. Guaranteed, he never thought he’d see them fall after helping to put them up. I will never in my life forget that horrible day. 🙁
Lovely picture. Looks like the day with the sun and sky. Just watched the Memorial in NY. Emotions are the same every year for so many. Some people say it is this generation’s answer to Kennedy’s assasination. I think it’s more like Pearl Harbor which I never understood in my heart until September 11th. None of us who lived through it will ever forget where we were, who we were with or the hurt we felt. I guess remembering is the least we can do to honor the fallen. Thanks, Robyn for the post.
Thanks, Robyn.
It will always be a very sad day for many of us Americans. Even those of us who didn’t lose any loved ones or friends on that day. Very, very sad.
DH & I visited the observation deck many times while we lived in NJ. The saying about Pearl Harbor rings true for 9/11 too… it is a day that will live in infamy.
God bless America!
