Meet my great-nephew (son of my nephew = great-nephew, right?). Three months old and unbearably sweet.

Saw my 21 year-old nephew and his girlfriend (mother of his child) for a few hours on Saturday and again on Sunday. So young and so in love. I loved being able to hold their child, the first of the next generation, and watch them interact. The two of them, clearly in love but not desperate to prove it to everyone in attendance, were sweet to watch. They’re adorable; you’ll have to take my word for it.

I took ten thousand pictures of that baby, you know I did. Camera nearly cracked from the overload of cute.

(Yes, I adore wee babies and holding and kissing them. Does it make me want one of my own? Not for a single moment.)

  1. I LOVE the look on his face. “She’s my AUNT??? REALLY??? SHE’S SO COOOOL!!!”

You betcha she is, kiddo. 😉

  2. Babies that you can love on and smell their sweet baby smell but then give back are the best kind!

  3. Oh, I love other people’s babies. They’re so fun to hold and coo at. When they get too heavy/loud/smelly, I just hand them back to Mom/Dad. Great deal.

All babies are cute. Your great-nephew is particularly adorable. Excellent expression he’s making there.

  4. What a little sweet pea! I agree with the general concensus-other people’s babies are great to hold and coo over. I’m not all that into babysitting because I did an awful lot of it in my younger days. I wanted my own for years (didn’t happen).Even a powerball win and a staff probably couldn’t entice me into it now. Enjoy him Robyn!
