I haven’t watched the season very much. But it’s sort of weird that I could watch the finale and understand everything that was going on. The whole McDreamy thing is annoying and I have no clue what is so wonderful about Meredith that she has all these men in love with her. I continue to watch because I like George. Heh.
I would SO buy that t-shirt! Someone should set them up somewhere and make a bundle.

What I don’t quite get is that Meredith is horribly fucked up still she can get all the super cute boys. Of course, the McDreamy is tiny and I would be afraid he’d fly right off of me if he was my boyfriend.

I cried quite a bit when Doc was being put down. I kept picturing my kitties and when it happened to them. Then I cried right along with Izzy and when Alex was so sweet to her holding her in his arms it just made me cry harder.

I swear, if she hadn’t gone to Burke’s side by the end of that show, I would have thrown my TV out the window! I was so proud of Karev for stepping up and taking care of Izzy. That weaselly bastard just totally does it for me! heh! And I love George and Callie together. He wants to mean it when he says he loves her. How sweet is he?! I figured Denny was going to die, because the actor (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) also plays the dad on the show Supernatural. They implied that his character will be in a lot more episodes next season (so if you need a Denny fix in the fall, flip over to the WB). I was disappointed that Meredith hooked up with McDreamy at the prom. I think that pretty much inked the deal for anybody to get to call her a whore…
Christine: Yeah, but y’know, to “get back together” with Addison and then treat her the way he has, then to sleep with Meredith at the prom (and HELLO, did Izzie look gorgeous in that prom dress, or what?!) is pretty Assy. I think they should both dump his ass, then he could take up with Olivia, the nurse George slept with. Heh!
Although, I guess I’ll say that probably he was trying to do the right thing, to stay with his wife, but I don’t think he handled it very well at ALL.

I know that there have been women I’ve known in real life that men just go NUTS for, and I look at them and think “I just don’t get it.” Not in a mean or jealous way, I just don’t get what the attraction is there. I’m glad to hear I wasn’t the only one boo-hooing my eyes out when Denny died. Hubby looked over at me and said, “You know it’s just a tv show.” But it was so sad! And he died alone. When Izzie was laying there with him, I was absolutely sobbing.
Oh my God pass the kleenex! Was that a finale or what. I was totally exhausted when it was over. An emotional trainwreck. Poor Doc. Poor Addison. Poor Izzy. Poor Denny. Izzy looked so fabulous in that gown and Denny never got to see her in it. When she lay there mourning him I was just shattered. I just love it whan Alex picked her up and cradled her and how she clung to him. Meredith…ohhhhhhh she just frosts me! If she goes back to McDreamy and dumps that sweet vet I swear she seriously needs her head examined. On the other hand, perhaps they deserve one another because they are SO terminally screwed up it would only be fair to the human race to contain their poison and free other people the pain the might spread. I love Bailey and think that she is just a big ole softie underneath all that rough, gruff exterior. She too hated watching Izzy melt down. I hope Izzy comes to her senses and returns and that the hospital lets her.
I just read that they’re moving Grey’s Anatomy to Thursday nights at 9:00. I already juggle CSI and Supernatural on that night/time! waah!
Putting down Doc totally destroyed me. And how is it that all season I thought his name was DOG, and only on the finale did I hear them say DOC?? I just thought Meredith couldn’t come up with any other name so she called him Dog. Heh.
George rules. And the fact that Christina was surprised he came to see Burke ruled too. What, she’s the only one allowed to care?

What I love about the show is that it is the “anti-ER”. It is a fun not gripping, soap-opera-ish not soap-boxy, and fanciful not really serious, hospital drama.
My big thing about the finale was that Izzy needed to be found out about what she did, because people,SERIOUSLY, we CANNOT have doctors like that running around. I admire what she did for the man she loved, but actions have to have consequences. I would not want her for my doc.
On Meredith- I agree… what would a man see in her? To me the most appealing woman by FAR on the show would have to be Bailey.
