Thank you everyone, we are absolutely fine! There was no damage to the house, just a few big trees down (one in the chicken yard). Dogs are fine, chickens are fine, cats are fine. We were only without power for about 4 hours Wednesday, but our phone and internet have been down, and I couldn’t connect to anything with my phone. THANK YOU so much to Nance, who kept y’all informed. I will post tomorrow morning as soon as I can!

SO glad everything is somewhat back to normal and that everyone withstood the tornado!! I’m looking forward to hearing/reading all about it tomorrow!
🙂
So glad to hear! I’ve been checking up on you (lurking, for the most part), was very glad to find you’re okay. Whew!
I imagined all your frozen food defrosting, thankful that didn’t occur. Welcome back.
so glad you check in
Oh, Robyn – it’s good to know that you and Fred are alright. I’ve been checking in and waiting to hear from you, also. Nance was a dear to give us news. (Thank you, Nance!)
I’m happy to hear that Crooked Acres and all inhabitants are ok.
I suspect, however, that the kitties were just as happy to have a few days of no internet time (no internet = more time for PETTIN’ THE CAT)
Love to all of you! (And a huge thanks to Nance for letting us know y’all were ok)
Thank goodness 🙂 you are all safe!
Glad to hear everyone is okay!
I can’t believe how worried I was about someone I don’t even know irl. I’m so glad you and yours are ok!
I am right there with you. I have been reading since 1999; and even though I do not know them irl I was very worried about them as well.
So glad to hear from you. We were so worried about you, Fred and everyone at Crooked Acres. The pictures and reports have been so terrible. Glad to have you ‘back’. Huge thanks to Nance for being the communication link. You have a huge family out here in cyberville and we all were very worried.
Glad to hear you did not lose the freezer camp!
Good to hear your doing ok!
Glad to hear that you, Fred and all the critters are doing well. Glad to hear that there wasn’t any damage to the house. You can cut up the wood from the downed trees and use it in the fire place, Or sell it as fire wood.
Glad to hear you’re all well. Looking forward to more Crooked Acres pictures.
Thanks for letting us know you are okay.Big hugs all around!
My prayers have been sent to your house and Ms. Poo. I don’t really have a favorite amongst your cats. They are all beautiful, especially Ms. Poo… I’m so glad to hear you are all right. God Bless.
Thank God you are safe. Prayers to all in the South who suffered damage and loss of life.
Such great news that everything’s okay with you and Fred. The news photos of the worst hit places look just horrible.
Nance is a doll to have kept us posted and not let us worry ourselves sick.
Worried about you! So glad you are all safe. Much thanks to Nance.
Yes, thanks to Nance for keeping us posted. Glad you all are ok!
Glad to hear everyone weathered the storm there. Have been reading your blog for many years now.
Thanks Nance!
Once I heard you were all OK I started worrying about your freezers! Glad it’s all good 🙂
Right on!
Add me to the list of those who are thankful all is well. We had a tornado blow through here and wipe out hundreds of houses. The casualties were minimal. I never understood why there are virtually no basements under houses in the south (grew up in middle Tennessee). I know the ground is hard clay but I hope they start digging them. Perfect time for those who have to rebuild. My kids are itching to go help. They picked up so much debris from the one here.
Thank God you are alright! I was really worried about you guys and all the animals. I have been reading you and Fred since 1999…don’t really know you…but still care ALOT.
