As promised – more George and Gracie pics than you can handle.

Can you HANDLE the G&G? Let’s see!

I wanted to get a shot of them sitting side by side, but they were WAY too excited about the fact that we were both out there to sit calmly and let me shoot some pictures.

Galumphing over for some love.

Gracie, out standing in her field.

Gracie in the front, and George way in the back.

There’s a freakin’ stream, basically, flowing through the middle of the back forty. Fred and George and I were on the other side of the stream, and Fred called to Gracie. She thought about it, headed for the stream…

LEAP!

“Aw, shucks, ’tweren’t nothin’.”

Hello, gorgeous.

Did I mention, gorgeous?

Gracie, keeping an eye on the horses on the next property over. Note all the discarded fur on the ground at her feet. Fred had just brushed them both.

::thlurrrp::

Clearly miserable.

Not excited at all.

“I HAZ A COMPLAINT HE IS BITING ME MAKE HIM STOOOOOOOOOP!”

“Ah, yeah. Right there. That’s the spot!” (Oy, the kitten lips. Kill me!)

Keeping an eye on his brudders.

“Psst! Okay, Mr. Mousie, I’m going to run over and howl at her and distract her by thinking I’m all hungry, YOU run to freedom and then tonight come back and break me out, okay?”

“COMPLAINTS. I HAZ SOME.” Debbie mentioned last week that in a picture of Rhyme, it looks like the color in his eyes is cut in half down the middle of his iris’. I see light blue on the inside and dark blue on the outside of his eyes, it might be the lighting or something but it looks pretty neat! I think you might be right, Debbie – there’s definitely a line down the center of his eye, and it does look like the color’s slightly different on each side. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before in a kitten. That’s VERY neat!

  1. George & Gracie are beautiful dogs, and like all dogs ALWAYS enthusiastic and excited to see their owners! I wish I could have a large dog, but I fostered one for a short time and simply couldn’t handle it when the dog pulled this or that way. My two small dogs are a handful, but I think next I’m going for an itty-bitty dog I can carry around in my tote. LOL

  2. George & Gracie are so furry! They would be an allergic nightmare for me!

What happened to the chart of which cats interact with each other? I was looking forward to that all week! ha :p

  3. G and G are not dogs, they are big white TEDDY BEARS. I just want to squish them with hugs. Good lord though, just thinking about keeping them indoors, and the hugh fur tumbleweeds that would create, is mind boggling. I think I hear my vacuum cleaner crying in the closet. Thanks for the puppy fix!

  4. Gracie and George always look so happy! I am not really a dog person but I have to say I love those two, they are just beautiful!

  5. Gracie and George are amazing. Gracie is so smart leaping over the stream. Our basset Ollie can’t do that because of the way he’s built but he would just bulldoze through it like he does everything else. He’s cute and sweet but graceful he’s not.
The kitten lips are cool but it’s that dark little nose that is killing me with the cute. He looks like a stuffed animal with that adorable sniffer.

  6. I have a (human) friend that has one eye with color “split” vertically green and brown, and her other eye is straight green, it’s pretty neat, actually.

And the birds and other nest building critters must be loving the fluffballs that G&G leave!

  7. George and Gracie are gorgeous. Some of the pics of them remind me of a polar bear. Anyone else see that?

  8. OH the dogs are beautiful. Also gorgeous. Also so happy! I love them. Now I want some. Hopefully my senses will return shortly.

  9. Robyn, I have never before joined in the chorus when your readers start predicting that you’re going to keep this or that foster, but this time…it’s different. How in the HELL are you going to be able to let those adorable babies go? I swear, if I didn’t have two dogs, and my husband wouldn’t immediately leave me, I’d take ALL of them!

  10. Yay, pics for us dog lovers. George and Gracie are beautiful and doing a great job! So glad they get plenty of love and care from their mom and dad, as do all your animals. Love when animals have happy homes.

  11. I’m sure you have answered this a gazillion times, but are the kittens eyes going to stay that colour?
With each batch of kittens I think, this is the cutest ever, then the next batch is just as gorgeous.

And G7G are styling too! Happy crew.

    1. No, they’ll change – probably to varying shades of green. Though Rhyme’s eyes are changing so slowly and are still so blue that I’m wondering if he’s going to end up with blue eyes in the end. That would be very neat!

  12. So, yesterday, I was out driving a chasae car around an 18 mile circuit for my son and a bunch of his cycling buddies. Three times I had to drive by this cute little farm house with chicken coops, and two giant GP dogs would come galloping up to the fence to bark at the passing peleton. If I didn’t KNOW you were in Alabama, I would have sworn you guys had packed up and moved the entire Crooked Acres setup to Satsop, Washington!

  13. Gracie clearly does a superior job, in fact she is outstanding in her field. tee hee. Get it? out standing in her field. La la la
