Someone noticed yesterday that Logie had a bit of green goop in one of her eyes. That picture was from a few days ago, and after a few applications of ointment, her eye is much better. Darwin, on the other hand, poked herself in the eye (I actually saw it happen), and so she’s got one squinty eye now. It’s always something, I tell ya.

Short video of the Noms, shot yesterday. Emmy was doing her best to clean those babies but they just would NOT sit still!

  1. Those kittens are So. Freakin’. CUTE. I knew they’d be gorgeous when their eyes opened, but I never imagined they’d be THAT. FREAKIN’. CUTE.

  2. “Wait…there are TWO of them?!” made me giggle quite a bit! And Newbery’s ears seemed to have “popped”–does that coincide with the ability to hear?

  3. I love how that one baby thought s/he’d get away without a bath by nursing there towards the back, but NOPE!

I noticed the difference in the ears too – the “Whatcha got there, lady?” kitten’s ears seem much smaller and less pointed than almost all the other pictures. Was that maybe a picture taken on a different day, or does that one just have smaller, rounder ears than the others?

    1. Damn, you are entirely right! That one was taken about three days before the other ones were. I guess we now know at what age they go from rounded to more pointy. 🙂
