I clearly need a life, desperately. Last night I had a night-long dream that I was on Survivor. It was a very involved dream, and at the end I discovered that I had won the million dollars, and I wanted to know how to get the million dollar check, so I asked the manager of the hotel where I was staying, and she got Jeff Probst’s phone number for me.
Apparently my knowledge that they present the million dollar check the next morning on The Early Show didn’t make it into the dream with me.
Survivor tonight! Whoo!

The Bachelorette (spoilers inside):
Okay Chad, you’re a good-lookin’ guy and nice to boot, but if you’re going to make THAT big of a deal about worrying about the right time to lay one on Meredith, well, that’s just kinda freaky.
I predict that Meredith is going to end up with Matt, because that’s what the editors want me to think, and I don’t necessarily think Ian’s the right guy for her. But what the hell do I know? I thought Bob was going to pick Kelly Jo.

American Idol (spoilers within):
I was really surprised that Lisa didn’t make it through – I thought she was one of the best. I don’t really care for Camile, though if she can get over her nervousness, that might change. I like Matt Rodgers, and Fred pointed out that as the show ended last night and Matt was singing, he sounded way better than he had the night before.
It disappointed me how much the two brothers just sucked. God, that was awful. Next week can’t possibly be as horrid as this week was (knock on wood!).

I said to Fred last night, “I bet if I spent less time on the computer, I could read a book a day!” Some days I
do read a book a day, but that doesn’t happen all that often, especially with the thicker books.
I spend an awful lot of time in front of the computer, though, updating this journal, reading the journals I like to read, checking
Nance and
Mo 65,000 times a day to see if they’ve updated their blogs. With all the time I’ve spent on my ass in front of the computer in the last few years, you’d think I could have pounded out a book or something (I haven’t, so don’t get all excited/ annoyed thinking I’m about to announce that I’ve written the breathtaking saga of my life –
Robyn: “Still So Fat” After All These Years – and sold it for a buck fifty to St. Martin’s Press).
Maybe I’ll declare April “Book A Day” month. Not March, ’cause spring break’s right in the middle of March, and we might be doing something that week (we haven’t decided), so I need a completely uninterrupted month to accomplish my goal. We’ll see.
And by the way, yes. It IS nice to be able to spend the days doing what I want, when I want, so long as grub’s on the table by 5. I’m fully aware that I’m a lucky, lucky bitch.

Miz Poo was laying in the cat bed under the lamp, when the Bean came up and made himself at home next to her. She looked at Fred for help.
She looked at me, hoping I’d give her a hand getting rid of that little bastard.
And when she saw that no help was forthcoming, she gave up and went back to sleep.

I am totally in agreement on the Lisa Camille thing!
I was especially rooting for Lisa since she got turned down last year and had made it this far this year.
Camille has a serious nerve issue and it affects her voice. She is cute though. But her hair reminds me of mine when I get outta the shower.
Right now while I am off work I guess I am living the life of Robyn.
Spend my days on the computer or what-not as long as supper is on the table at 5:00.
We live parallel lives Robyn! 😉
Hiya, from one lucky bitch to another. I pulled the fucking bumber off my car today, and who do you think came and got me back on the road? My wonderful husband, that’s who.
Re: AI: I am hooked. I am also SO stoked that Matt got through. I have loved Matt since his audition, and yes, he did sound MUCH better last night. That big boy can sing!
Speaking of dinner, here is a kick-ass oven fried chicken recipe…I spray the tops of mine with Butter Pam and sprinkle pepper and salt on it for “visual” appeal..

I hope the link works!

So I finally started watching The Bachelorette and agree 100% with you. Since I just started I can’t remember the guys name who basically hosts it, but he was on Ellen’s show and she asked him which rose ceremony truly was the “most dramatic ever.” His answer was the final one with Meredeth out of all shows/bachelors/bachelorettes the last is the best. So either she picks someone we don’t expect or she’s completely torn so it’s a nail biter.
Meredeth was also on after the 2nd or 3rd episode and said she’s “in love.” And right now it’s looking like Matt would be the recipient.
Her laugh is annoying me though. But I like her so I can over look it (said like I’m around her a lot, heh). Anyhoo, glad I started watching, it’s addicting.
Aw! You’re our favorite lucky bitch! If you worked during the day, you might not have time to update your site, and then what would all of us poor suckers who are at work all day have to look forward to during the long workday? Every workday is made better by reading Bitchypoo!
I agree with you about The Bachelorette…I like Matthew…Ian kind of creeps me out. And on AI, I liked Matt and Lisa alot. Maybe Lisa will get one of the wild cards things they do? We can only hope.
Cute pictues of Bean and Poo! Looks like another cat bed needs to be placed there.
Hi. Love your journal. Miss the Tubby! Just incase you’re interested there is an e-mail going around about the outcome of our (mutual) favorite show, Survivor, telling who gets voted out in each episode, etc. I heard about it on my favorite morning radio show here in Dallas, TX. If you’re interested go to the website for Kidd Kraddick. It’s KIDDLIVE.COM. I’m read the e-mail and so far they’re right on the money. Check it out!
I was seriously bummed that Lisa didn’t make it through on AI, but also very happy that Matt did. I really hope Lisa gets one of the wild cards, because I think that she was robbed last night.
I’m sorry, but I don’t get the whole ‘Camille has so much potential” thing. Sure she’s sweet and cute, but you either sound good or you don’t. In my book, she didn’t. But then again, I’m not a star-maker, so what the heck do I know? 😉
I’m sad again, I have to miss Survivor tonight for the second straight week. I have a husband that won’t be bothered to tape it for me. Even if I have everything set up and all he has to do is hit a button, it just won’t get done. I’m looking forward to a great re-cap Robyn! 🙂
I was rooting for Lisa and Matt as well. Camile can’t even enunciate her words when she’s singing, and last night she was either incredibly overwhelmed that she made it through or she was stoned. Her repeat performance was horrible. If she had been singing in *my* karaoke bar I would have turned off the power.
I think Camille has smoked her share of the wacky weed.
Wow, I am in the minority here-I really loved Camille, and actually even voted for her. As far as the Bachelorette goes, I LOVE Matthew, and so hope she picks him. I don’t know, I have a feeling it could be Ian. I will be so disappointed if that is the case.
I think the Beanie-Bean and Miz Poo have a whole wehaveapassionatesecretlove thing going. I adore your kitties.
