I’m very, very, very, very saddened that I cut his head off in this picture, because otherwise it’d be the best picture EVER. (He was laying in the cat bed and Tommy was doing something in the dining room that caught his interest, so he stood up to see what was going on)
Wow. Sugarbutt does not even look like a real cat in those photos. My cat does the prairie dog sometimes, but usually only for a millisecond before she plops back down on all 4s again. Amazing!

That second picture makes me think of the Opus comic strip, the cat in it, can’t remember his name was it Tom? Anyway, he looks like Opus and the cat to me. The way he’s all big/round at the bottom and the rest is slim. Great pictures.

He is SO CUTE! Our cat does this also and I love it when you catch them in a moment when they think you’re not paying attention. Also, when my husband and his brother were kids and his father was driving them around the country on family vacations and wouldn’t stop for food they formed the HAM Coalition, Hungry and Mean! From the sound of it you are part of the Coalition too! LOL
Adah does that all the time–and she’s so fucking LONG that she looks creepily tall, exactly like a meerkat. then she’ll sit there for awhile. creepy.

Aw Robyn, 40 ain’t so bad! I just turned 40 in December and it seems the same as 39 or 38 or 37.

Our big (fluffy) yellow cat (named Cat) gets so excited when my husband walks in that he stands on his hind legs and walks. I think he may be part human. He actually takes 5 or 6 steps before he goes back to all fours. Hilarious! I wish he had a pink nose like your Sugarbutt.
