This machine keeps beeping, and it’s harshing my buzz man.

Beeping = GOOD. It’s when it’s quiet that you have to worry! God bless pharmaseuticals, huh? Hope you can get some rest tonight!
I was gonna say… in the previous photo, your pupils aren’t quite right. They should set up those machines to play techno music instead of beeping. Only beep if something is WRONG. Otherwise – get DOWN.
I think you need more demerol 😉 Agree. Beeping GOOD THING. Annoying as hell but the alternative not so nice!
Those damn machines drove me APESHIT the last time I was in the hospital. Not only the quiet, rhythmic beep-beep-beep showing that everything’s good to go, but the blaring insistent BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP of the goddamn IV bag being empty for three hours and no one having time to come refill it or shut the damn machine off. The machines in the rooms next door that had been unplugged and were alarm-ing, but again no one to come shut them off, plug them back in, fix them. I couldn’t rest, couldn’t fall asleep and on the rare instances I did manage to doze off for a few seconds would be woken up almost immediately by the goddamned beeping. I wound up with a headache so bad I was crying and throwing anything I could reach, begging and nearly screaming at the poor nurses to make the noises STOP. They brought me earplugs which helped for about 5 seconds. I was ready to knock myself unconscious just to get some rest – and, since I was in for a GI infection, the only pain medication they’d give me was Tylenol, for a headache so bad I wanted to gouge my eye out with a fork.
UGH! Sorry. Apparently today is a day to focus on the negative. Hope you’re back home now, with the only noises being quiet, soothing nature sounds, maybe a fan, and/or the TV (if that floats your boat).
